It is amazing what a nice haircut and some red hair dye can do for a person. I was upset about the status of my hair right after I colored it, but with this haircut it looks fantabulous. The stylist cut off 3 inches so most of the black is gone. Hooray! Now I have red hair with black streaks. It is a very cool haircut. I look different and that is just what I needed.

Tomorrow I am having lunch with a fellow LJer who is also at UT. I am looking forward to it, but of course I am terrified, but I promised to come out of my cave. And I can't very well turn down lunch offers and then continue to be upset that I don't have any friend prospects. (Hi Rachel!)

Today was my last group session. It was kind of sad, especially since one of the guys won't be coming back in the fall. He has to take a second job, so he won't have time. But the other girl will be back in the fall, which I am most happy about. She is so nice. And highly perceptive. One of the group leaders won't be back either, since she will be working on something else as part of an internship for her masters or phd or something. She is also my individual counselor, and at first said we would have to stop meeting because of her schedule change. I was really upset by that because I didn't want to have to start over. But thankfully she is able to keep seeing a few people and I was lucky enough to be one of them.

I am starving. I guess I will go wade through the dirty dishes in the kitchen to forage for food.

I am glad your haircut went so well. Hair stylists are great people. Especally, when they don't use their scissors to make designs in your hair. Does your stylist give you a nickname? That would be neat. Each time you came in she could give you a new nickname. This time you would ahve been Pinky. You sit down. She spins the chair quickly and says. "There you go, Pinky! Ready to be made more beautiful?" Then bubbles would fall out of the ceiling.

Not Bubbles the person. Bubbles the stuff that is round and glows and kind of looks rainbowy.

Have fun with Ellen! Be careful, though. She might be jealous of your hair. Try not to flaunt it. Perhaps, don't whisk your head around pinkly so often. She might feel bad that her hair wasn't newly cut and colorfied. You will have a good time. And you guys will hit it off. If you don't hit it off. Remember to write funny stuff about her in your live journal. Then, I will check hers to see if she writes funny stuff about you. Then I will comment on both of yours to egg you on.
In hers I will write. Isn't she huffy with all that pink and black hair? You would think she was hair queen USA.
In yours I will write. She sure did chew with her mouth open, didn't she? You should have told her you didn't like seafood. Chaw chaw chaw.
I will be an instigator. I will get awards.

A food forage expedition is always fun. You shouldn't worry about the dirty dishes, though. If things go well tomorrow, you can have your new friend do your dishes. What else are friends for?
